Matthew Rider AIA, LEED AP
Principal
Matt is a Principal of the firm and leads both design direction and client management. He is closely involved in every project, guiding the creative vision while maintaining a hands-on relationship with clients from initial concept through completion. His collaborative approach ensures that each project is both highly personal and thoughtfully executed.
As the firm’s design lead, Matt is known for his ability to translate client goals into cohesive architectural concepts that balance proportion, materiality, and detail. His work reflects a strong understanding of context and craft, combining timeless architectural principles with contemporary living needs. Matt brings clarity to complex design challenges and maintains a consistent design vision throughout all phases of a project.
Matt earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Northeastern University, where he developed a strong foundation in design, technical rigor, and integrated project delivery. His leadership balances creativity with precision, helping guide projects from early sketches through construction.
Outside the studio, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and staying active through tennis, golf, and baseball.
Jefferey Tagerman
Associate
Jeff is an Associate with over 20 years of experience in the architecture field, bringing a depth of technical knowledge and design insight to every project. Throughout his career, he has worked on a wide range of residential work, contributing thoughtful solutions that balance design intent, constructability, and long-term performance.
Jeff plays an integral role in guiding projects from early design through construction, offering a steady, detail-oriented approach and a collaborative mindset. His experience allows him to anticipate challenges and help deliver well-crafted, enduring homes.
Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and children and vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard, where he appreciates the region’s architecture, landscape, and coastal lifestyle.
William Rowland
Associate
Will brings over 30 years of experience in the architecture field and serves as a Project Manager for the firm. He plays a key role in guiding projects through the early phases of design, with a particular strength in leading schematic design and establishing clear, well-considered project frameworks.
With a deep understanding of design, coordination, and process, Will helps translate initial ideas into cohesive architectural concepts that set projects up for success in later phases. His calm leadership style and clear communication foster strong collaboration among clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Will’s experience allows him to anticipate challenges early, maintain design momentum, and ensure that projects move forward with clarity and purpose.
Trevor Salvini
Junior Associate
Trevor is a Junior Associate who supports projects across all phases of the architectural process. He works closely with project teams to assist in developing drawings, coordinating design intent, and advancing projects from early concepts through construction.
He plays a key role in producing schematic design drawings and renderings used for client presentations, helping communicate design ideas clearly and effectively. Trevor’s attention to detail and strong graphic skills contribute to well-prepared, thoughtful presentations.
Outside of the office, Trevor enjoys spending time on the golf course.
