Silvershell Gambrel

Marion, Massachusetts

Silvershell Gambrel is an existing Dutch gambrel that was built in 1925. We were tasked with updating the interior architecture and floor plans, while preserving the exterior charm of the existing gambrel.

The existing interior had many small inter-connected spaces that did not let much natural light into the space, or provide efficient circulation throughout the first and second floor plans. The updated layouts create larger over-lapping spaces that embrace an abundance of natural light and convenient circulation between the spaces.

The new master suite creates a private oasis. The new master bedroom is tastefully designed with transitional details. The master bathroom was re-engineered to have a cathedral ceiling with skylights. The skylights help to bring natural light deep into the bathroom, while the tub niche is meant to create a moment, built into the end of the gable.
