Our Modern Revival project involves a thoughtfully designed addition and renovation to an existing mid-century modern residence in Weston, Massachusetts. The design approach respects the home’s original modernist character while introducing a refined contemporary aesthetic that enhances functionality, light, and indoor–outdoor living.
The renovation includes a reimagined kitchen with clean lines, modern materials, and improved spatial flow, serving as the heart of the home. A new master suite renovation provides a private retreat, featuring updated layouts, modern finishes, and strong visual connections to the surrounding landscape. Outdoor living is expanded through the addition of a roof deck and screened porch, creating seamless transitions between interior and exterior spaces and extending the home’s usability across seasons.
Throughout the project, the design emphasizes simplicity, proportion, and material continuity, blending mid-century principles with contemporary detailing to create a timeless and cohesive home.
